Michelle Rodriguez has always been guided by the values she learned growing up in the Inland Empire. She was born and raised in Ontario, CA, and is a lifelong resident of the 53rd Assembly District.
Michelle is currently serving as a Commissioner for the California Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission, which sets policy for law enforcement across California. Michelle previously worked for Inter Valley Health Plan, a not-for-profit Medicare Advantage Organization, and ProMed Healthcare Administrators, administering managed care services.
Michelle has committed her life to advocating for public safety and education. She graduated from Northwest College with a Medical Assistant Certification, earned a Certificate in Campus Security from Pomona Unified School District and has also held positions at Chaffey Unified School District and Bonita Unified School District.
Together with her husband Freddie, an E.M.T., they have raised four children (Desirae, Freddie, Jr., Vincent, and Selena) in Pomona and have three beautiful grandchildren. Michelle will continue to fight for working families and children in the 53rd District.
